"Maine just has a special sense of home to me. I think, especially in the last seven years, having gone through all the experiences that I have had and having my life change a lot, the people here really treat you as they knew you before and kind of let you live a normal life." - Seth Wescott. While studying abroad last year I planned a spur of the moment trip even further abroad, but since it was last minute I couldn’t convince anyone else to go with me. I was hesitant to go alone, but I thought: you’re going to miss out on an awesome experience just because no one else can go?? So I took a chance and went alone, and obviously I bought a coffee for the journey. I was feeling pretty nervous at the time, over thinking as usual. Then as I was waiting for my train I looked at my coffee and it was boldly labeled "solo traveler". Weird coincidences and things like that don’t ever usually happen to me, or maybe I just don’t look for them. Anyway, this moment of chance served to snap me out of my reverie and told me to lighten up! Adventure here I come!
